Pack the Church - Family Mass Days

Family Mass will be held once a month for all classes during the 9:30 am Mass. Parents and families are invited too. There will be reserved pews towards the front of the church for your child to sit with their fellow faith formation and school friends.

Students will be needed in many different roles. Readers will be needed to read an introduction, lead the Prayers of the Faithful, and proclaim the first and second readings. Students will also be needed to carry our gifts to the altar. Others will be asked to greet parishioners and guests as they arrive and to pass out both children's bulletins and parish bulletins. Let's Pack the Church!

If your child(ren) would like to volunteer to participate in a Family Mass with either a speaking or non-speaking part, click the link below by the RSVP date. We apologize, but we cannot accommodate speaking parts after the deadline has passed. Speaking parts will be assigned a week before the service date. Parts will be sent home with students and emailed to parents. Please practice your part at home with your parents, guardians or older siblings. On the day of the Mass, we ask that you arrive by 8:45 AM to practice with the whole group.

We also encourage families to attend a Eucharistic Adoration on a Wednesday evening in Church.

What is Eucharistic Adoration?

Understood simply, Eucharistic Adoration is adoring or honoring the Eucharistic Presence of Christ. In a deeper sense, it involves "the contemplation of the Mystery of Christ truly present before us".

During Eucharistic Adoration, we "watch and wait", we remain "silent" in His Presence and open ourselves to His Graces which flow from the Eucharist ... By worshiping the Eucharistic Jesus, we become what God wants us to be! Like a magnet, The Lord draws us to Himself and gently transforms us.

In its fullest essence ... Eucharistic Adoration is "God and Man reaching out for each other, at the same time!"
